김지은 기자 | 구리문화원(원장 탄성은)은 지난 4일 고구려 온달장군의 얼이 서린 아차산 고구려 대장간마을 야외 공연장에서 백문초 학생들과 시민 250여 명이 참여한 가운데 '제35회 온달장군 추모제향'을 개최했다. 이날 제향은 전폐례-초헌례-축문-아헌례-종헌례-음복례-망예례 순으로 진행됐으며, 백경현 구리시장이 초헌관, 윤재근 구리문화원 부원장이 아헌관, 강종일 구리문화원 이사가 종헌관을 맡아 장군의 넋을 기리는 방식으로 진행됐다. 추모제향은 지난 1987년 8월 온달장군보존회가 자체적으로 구리시 아천동에서 온달장군의 나라사랑과 평강공주와의 애틋한 사랑 이야기를 널리 알리기 위해서 위령제를 올린 것이 첫 계기가 됐다. 1996년 10월부터는 매년 10월 초 구리문화원과 온달장군보존회(회장 손태일)가 주최하고 구리시가 후원해 아차산 기슭에서 고구려의 제례 의식을 재현하는 행사로 진행되고 있다. 백경현 구리시장은 "온달장군 추모제향이 구리시와 구리시민의 안녕과 행복을 기원하고 역사의식이 점차 희미해져가는 상황 속에서 우리 민족의 정통성에 대해 다시 한번 생각하며 계승해 나가는 행사로 계속 이어지길 바란다"라고 전했다. 구리문화원 탄성은 원장은 "이번 온달장군
