법왕청신문 이존영 기자 | 충남도가 2023 새만금 세계잼버리 대회 참가 스카우트 대원들에게 충남의 맛과 멋, 흥을 선사한다. 폭염 등으로 영외 프로그램을 확대 운영키로 한 정부 방침에 맞춰 대원들을 위해 안전하고 깨끗한 숙소를 마련하는 동시에, 머드축제와 공주·부여 역사·문화 등 다양한 관광 프로그램을 제공한다. 도는 우선 잼버리 참가 스카우트 대원들이 충남에서 편안하게 머물 수 있도록 도내 청소년수련시설과 유스호스텔 등 6개 시군 10개소의 시설을 확보했다. 공주유스호스텔 800명, 계룡갑사유스호스텔 500명, 부여청소년수련원 300명 등 1일 총 3000명을 수용할 수 있다. 스카우트 대원들이 충남에 머물며 즐길 수 있는 특별 프로그램도 마련했다. 6일 막을 내리는 글로벌 축제인 보령머드축제를 스카우트 대원들도 느낄 수 있도록 ‘머드마사지 셀프존’을 7∼10일 4일 동안 무료로 연장 운영한다. 머드축제장 인근 대천해수욕장에서는 짚라인과 스카이바이크 등 익사이팅 체험을 할 수 있으며, 보령냉풍욕장에서는 폭염을 한번에 날릴 수 있는 시원한 바람을, 석탄박물관에서는 우리나라 석탄산업을 엿 볼 수 있다. 도는 또 공주 공산성, 무령왕릉과 왕릉원 등 유네스코 세
